Villa Artemis - a luxury home from home

The advertisement did not, in our opinion, do the property full justice. Although this was a family holiday holiday people do from time to time require their own personal space and this property afforded them that. Upon arrival we were met by a member of the family close to the property to ensure we had no problems locating the villa. We were then given a very informative property brief on all the available facilities and we were advised to contact them for any reason or advice required no matter how small. The layout and avaiable facilities were as described and the property was scrupulously clean and well maintained. Mid stay the property was cleaned throughout and all the linen replaced, washing and drying machines were available and in good working order. The owner and family who managed the villa, gave us exceptionally good yet unobtrusive service, they were extremely wonderful and willing to sort out the only two minor issues we encountered (with local delivery and airport transport). We would/have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone especially family and friends. We generally ate locally or utilised the villa's BBQ area. Local supermarket shopping was a 5 minute drive away with a plentiful supply of all needs; fresh dairy, bakery, a well stocked meat, fish and wine selections. Currently favourable at the prevailing exchange rate. We had two birthdays within our party to celebrate during our stay and asked the owners if they could provide us with a BBQ evening and a little entertainment one evening for our party of 12. This they did and we were not disappointed at all. The villa was set up ready for the event whilst we were at the beach, they undertook all the BBQ cooking, provided wine and beer. The entertainment consisted of two local musicians and a 4 piece dance troup which performed Greek Islands and traditional dances that involved eveyone. It was a truly memorable evening. We must give special thanks to the owner Coola (Sandy) and her family who made us extremely welcome and for all the work that Nicola Thomas of Lindos Destiny did for us - Efharisto.
